*Wash your scalp, condition your hair (ends). There is no need to wash all the way to the ends unless you're using a lot of products or profusely sweating. *Don't use a lot of products! Hairsprays contain a lot of alcohol which is very drying. Instead, use some oil on your mid-shaft to ends only. *Get a scalp treatment! This is SO Important! Your scalp produces sebum AND sweat. Your follicles hold onto that and that is what causes you to have oily roots, damaged hair and dul...lness. A scalp treatment exfoliates your scalp and adds back healthy moisture (and it feels SO good). They're only $99 at JC Salon Spa Mahogany . *Avoid heat. But if you insist on using heat, invest in a heat protectant. At the spa we prefer 'The Wizard' from Amika (I can order this for you anytime)! *Lastly, get a GOOD haircut. If its been more than 6 months since you've had a cut, chances are you won't like how much you should get cut off. Maintaining those split ends is so much easier and less heart breaking than being told you need to cut off 6 inches.
