Now more than ever, humanity NEEDS to wake up. Community is what we need and love is where we need to go. Fear is an illusion and the opposite of love. I am not... asking you to turn a blind eye. I am not saying to NOT take precautions for your families' sake. I am asking you to connect and re-connect over and over again with love, in times like this. Here are 5 things I encourage us all to focus on. 1) be grateful for your health now and those around you that you love - focus on this instead of the fear of what could happen 2) help a neighbour, a friend, family member or stranger - the simplest way you can, every offering is powerful 3) connect to your higher self and pray for the greater good for all - it is times like this we need to have faith in something greater 4) eliminate judgment of others - especially those taking this 'too' seriously, do not balk at the idea of someone wanting to stay home because of the sniffles, nor should we jump every time someone coughs in public in resentment or offensiveness 5) be mindful - do your part (ya know, wash your hands, don't touch your face, etc etc!) Lastly, if you do have to isolate yourself due to being affected or taking precautions for this virus, please build a routine at home that is mindful, not mindless. Take care of not just your physically body, but listen to your soul, work out your mind and continue to build connection with others. We live in an amazing time with this thing called the internet that can connect us at an instant. Isolation from loved ones can feel disempowering and cause feelings of disconnect. Reach out to your friends, create facetime chats, join online groups, etc etc. I am here for anyone that may feel disconnected, isolated or just needs to release some fears. I too more than ever am learning to find the comfort in this. Let's stay in love, XO MEL
