Bubbles is still looking for his forever family! He is a wonderful boy looking for an active family that has a lot of attention to give him as he is super active. He is a 3-4 month old medium sized mix breed bunny! (most likely dwarf and Newzealand mix) He is a crazy, curious and sweet little bunny. I absolutely adore this guy! He will eat all day long and has boundless energy. Not afraid of anything! Bubbles is available for adoption to the right home! He would need... an X pen with playtime daily and hopefully another bun to live with! He is not neutered so he will need to be neutered. Update on Lady and her babies! Lady is gaining weight finally able to be eating a good diet to nourish herself and her babies. She loves her pellets and alfalfa and is eating orchard grass now too! She also is very good with her litterbox already! She is being a good momma but unfortunately 3 of her kits are very small and we’re struggling to get to the nipples for milk. This is common in such a large litter like Lady’s and without us stepping in, these babies wouldn’t be... able to fight for food. We are now bottle feeding 3 of the smallest babies in hopes that they will be able to grow bigger and stronger. They still remain with mom at nighttime and in between feedings to stay warm and cuddle with the others. Over the course of a few days these 3 babies have already gained some weight and are more spunky and super ready for the miracle nipple at feeding time. Let’s Welcome Lady Bug! Or Lady for short! This poor girl was dumped in the middle of the country in Hammond. Two wonderful ladies rescued her and kept her for a few days to find a rescue that could take her. Originally we were just going to take her not knowing that miss Lady had a surprise for all of us! She gave birth to 11 babies last night/early this morning! Lady is a commercial rabbit mix of Californian and possibly some Newzealand in her as well. She is younger... and underweight but overall healthy. Considering her circumstances she had a healthy delivery and the babies overall look healthy. She made a beautiful nest with lots of fur. She is currently being fostered by a wonderful family with lots of experience fostering various species of animals so she is in amazing hands. Due to the surprise we were not expecting this many rabbits to feed, house and care for and find homes for. Lady and her beautiful babies will be available for adoption in 8 weeks when they are fully weaned. I don’t normally ask for donations but with the amount of rabbits we have taken in in such a short period of time and how large this rescue is, We are asking for any donations to help us care for these babies and mom. Adopted!!! Through no fault of his own KIWI is back up looking for his new family! He was born July 16th 2020, purebred Holland lop. His adoption fee is $150 ...and he is tattooed, health guaranteed and will be on an adoption contract with lifetime breeder support and will come with transitional food.
