I have had quite a few questions about what we do with our little cattle operation in a day. Weekends tend to be when we have time to work with the herd. Follow along to see a glimpse of our day sorting pairs, hauling calves home, and hauling some of our younger cows to some fresh grass.

What if you only brushed your teeth a couple of times a week or month? That makes you cringe right? Just like dental work if you don’t take care of your teeth you end up needing to go in for more then just a cleaning! While I am not a dentist I do get clients coming in with actute conditions from a chronic lack of maintenance (stretching, exercise, foam rolling). We use our muscles on a daily basis, so get into the routine of practicing your muscular self care

Mid Back Stretch - Wring out the Tension! Another favourite 1. Sitting on the floor with your feet stretched out in front of you, take your right foot cross it over the left knee so it is placed on the floor by the outside of your left knee ... 2. Take a nice deep breath, sit up tall and place your right hand behind you, bringing your left elbow to the outside of your right knee. 3. Exhale and gently twist your chest to the right. You should start to feel the stretch through your mid back. 4. Look over your right shoulder only as far as your neck will allow, keeping your shoulders down. 5. Hold for 5 breaths and release back to centre 6. Repeat on the other side for the same amount of breaths. Repeat if needed! See more

Whatever and wherever it is, remind yourself that self-care, solicited, finding peace, relaxing or meditation is good for all of us. Whatever yours is - find that today and enjoy the moment.

Sore feet slowing you down? Give these exercises a try. Big Toe Extension: place the base of your big toe on the edge of a wall, so it’s pointing upwards. The other four toes are flat on the ground. Lean forward until you feel a nice pull under your toe. If you don’t feel much of a pull try bending your knee and leaning forward. Hold for 30 seconds or do 15 reps on each side ... Roll out the bottom of your foot with a tennis ball or golf ball. Max 5 min per side. Roll out your gastrocnemius and soleus with a rolling pin or foam roller 15 passes per side.

6 Motivation Hacks 1. Drink cold water. Don’t like it plain - try adding lemon, berries, mint or AMPED Hydrate. 2. Go on a quick walk. Researchers at the University of Georgia have found that in some cases, 10 minutes of light cardiovascular activity can be more energizing than 50 milligrams of caffeine. 3. Encourage yourself. Give yourself a pep talk, set a timer on your phone 3x throughout the day with motivational quotes, listen to a motivational video. ... 5. Take a power pose. In her TED Talk, Amy Cuddy shows how power posing for two minutes can actually make you feel more powerful. 6. Slow it down. It’s super easy. Just pull up a five-minute yoga or stretch session on your phone, and gift yourself a slowdown. Whether you roll right out of bed and onto your yoga mat or stop in the middle of a busy workday to breathe, a quick five-minute session of gentle yoga can refocus your mind, calm nerves, and zap stress so you can get more done with less anxiety. 7. Thank yourself. Morning, noon, or night find some time to stop think or write down what you are thankful/grateful for. A 2011 study by Robert A. Emmons and Anjali Mishra found that people feel motivated and energized when they experience gratitude and that gratitude encourages them to make progress toward their goals. See more

End your day with this one Place a pillow under your sacrum, do some diaphragmatic breathing and hold for up to 20 min. Flex or relax the feet with variation 1. This can help stretch out the backline, inner thighs ( variation 2), relieve mild back pain, headaches, and reduce swelling and pain in the legs/feet.
