Starting A Fitness Routine Can be a Scary Thing! When sitting down to meet and design a program for a new client, I can often see a variety of different emotions racing through their mind. Is this going to be hard? Am I going to suffer extreme muscle fatigue? Is she going to make me do burpees? While it is an exciting time, it can also be full of anxiety and fear.and you know what, its okay to feel that way!!! For many of us, change isn't easy. ... Developing programs is one of my favourite parts of what I do, but it takes a considerable amount of work. After all, training is certainly not a one-size-fits-all approach, and I want to make sure that you (the client) get the very most out of your time with me. Some of the factors that will influence the program I design for you include the following: - What your activity level is like now. - How much time you have to commit to exercise. - Is diet something you are willing to make changes to as well? - Do you suffer from any injuries? Illnesses? Disease? - Exercise preferences: Do you hate burpees? Love to squat? Tell me these things! You may not always consider your program to be fun, but it certainly doesn't have to be torturous. The amazing thing about exercise is that there really is something for everyone.What are you waiting for? Invest in yourself today!

Yummy Indulgence A client recently emailed me to let me know that she had "gotten into the chips last night." While I'm a big believer in allowing yourself to indulge once and a while, my client felt very guilty and asked if I had any suggestions for a munching snack that wouldn't be as bad as digging into that big bag of chips.
