One year ago today, while working with the now non-existent Lacombe Globe, I had the opportunity to see the Lacombe Community Refugee Effort reunite the Al Omar family's matriarch, Naema, with her sister Khadija. Definitely one of the coolest things I've had an opportunity to do and write about. Fortunately, the article hasn't been scrubbed from the internet, and can still be read here: https://www.cochranetimes.com//8e2a318f-7af2-4a96-b268-890
Upgrading skills on the graphic design end, and it involves A LOT of drawing.
Sunset, moonrise and a farmers in the field. Just your typical Alberta fall evening. #harvest2020 #sunsetphotography #moonrise #fullmoon #harvestmoon #harvestmoon2020
Two years since I lost my sweet sunshine kitty, Sungmin. She was too pure for this world, deserved better, and I'll miss her always - and forever regret not taking more pictures of her. Make sure you stop and remember to take pictures of your furry friends - and not just the cellphone kind.
Really excited to see Google do this. A lot of people don't realize that not every image on the internet is free game for their own use, and this should help raise awareness around licensing images for use, and help photographers make money off of photos being used.
