It's been almost an year of intentional movement for me! I am so proud of myself and what I have accomplished! Although I'm loving the results of my body, what movement has done for my mental health is my biggest accomplishment! I am always giving, supporting, cooking, loving and hustling for others.. But committing to 30 mins a day, to focus on me, has given me the coping strategies needed to be there for myself and the community I love working with. Thank you to my tribe ...that has and continues to support my journey to move and motivates me on the days I just don't want to! As my friend and I drove in our neighborhood... we noticed our boys and friends walking. They were walking down the street being the Jackasses they usually are, normal teenage behaviour... laughing, talking, bouncing a ball. As we watched them, we quickly realized most don't see our innocent boys the way we see them.
