Just a friendly reminder. Its winter, have you turned the water off to your exterior hose faucets?

This is the time of year to have your furnace serviced and cleaned for the cold months ahead. And don't forget the furnace filter, regular replacement is needed for trouble free operation of the furnace.

Remember to prepare the humidifier on you furnace for winter. Cleaning to remove calcium scale from the interior filter is critical to proper operation. Controlling the humidity level as the temperature gets colder reduces the chance of attic frost and the damage that can cause.

Here are some good tips for summer cooking. Use the grill at least 10 feet away from your house or any building. Do not use the grill in a garage, breezeway, carport, porch, or under a surface that can catch fire.
