Our Penticton Fairhaven Supportive Housing location is looking for two people who want to help folks with mental illnesses/addictions/homelessness issues while being part of an amazing organization and team! We are looking for a Temporary Full-Time Tenant Support Worker who would work Tuesday to Saturday 12:00am to 8:00am starting asap up to and including March 31, 2021! AND we are looking for a Permanent Full-Time Tenant Support Worker who would work Sunday to Thursday 12:...00am to 8:00am!! Within these roles, the successful candidates will provide life skills services to Program Participants who are at-risk of homelessness in our community. Promote/mentor healthy, independent living skills to Program Participants for them to achieve their goals and live as independently as possible. Service delivery is based on a client centered, non-judgmental perspective. These positions will close on November 13, 2020 at 10:00am with interviews to take place on November 26, 2020. Our Outreach Team and TiOAT Program is looking for a Permanent Part-Time Recovery Support Worker working Friday to Sunday 8:30am to 4:30pm with opportunities for casual/on-call work as well! The Recovery Support Worker works closely with the Overdose Prevention Team and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide outreach and engagement services to parti...cipants experiencing homelessness and/or substance use problems/disorders and who experience severe challenges in daily living as a result. This position will provide outreach, engagement, and rapport building to participants. The Recovery Support Worker will instill hope and support and inspire others to embrace their recovery.
