Another great reminder from the City. Let's all work towards barrier free sidewalks.
Terrific company with a great contest that ends tomorrow!
Need to focus on improving sidewalk safety.
The following is an email sent to the Minister of Disability and the response. I'm not satisfied with the reply and will keep pushing. #disability #ldnont

Just heard from the City of London that they will be running a social media campaign focusing on blocked sidewalks. This is welcome news!
Come on people...blocking the sidewalks is inconsiderate...think before you park.
Anyone affected by this? https://www.thestar.com//activists-fear-for-safety-of-peop
Have gotten word that emergency funds, up to $100 per individual, are now available if you are on ODSP. To apply, contact your case worker. Hang in there folks...and stay safe.
Just got word that all Amputee Clinics at Parkwood have been cancelled until the end of April. Hearing extra clinics may be set up once everything settles down. Hang in there everyone and take care of those stumps!

This is awesome!!!
The following was sent to the LTC yesterday and is being reviewed at today's commission meeting.
Important to have an emergency plan!
Seeing issues with inconsiderate and ineligible people parking in disabled spots? Slap one of these on their windshields. I'm got a small supply of these for anyone interested.
Tons of training for a new volunteer role at Parkwood for the Amputee Program.
I spend time on Twitter advocating for the rights for those with disabilities. Check out @Gerry LaHay. Lots happening.
As you may have noticed, haven't been posting lately. Had surgery a few days ago, a revision to one of my stumps. Sitting here with 40 stitches. Surgery was needed to allow me to walk properly on my prosthetic. A good reminder that once in a while, we amputees have to take a moment of pause. It happens and it's okay. Don't push yourself too hard and take care of those stumps!
Did you know I sit on the City of London's Accessibility Advisory Committee? If you have any concerns that need to be addressed let me know!
New business cards being ordered!
