Sept 15th 2020 is the funeral of a dearly beloved friend. A man who has pushed himself to the limit every day, all while keeping a smile on his face. He was precious to his community, his family, and his friends. And he gave the light and inspiration that Smoke Signals was able to branch off of and grow, and will continue to do so in his honour. Ken was Suzanne Smoke's (The Boss Lady) best friend, and was always a delight to run into every day for myself (Shawna, Sue's daughter). He always gave me or my kids a little spending money when he saw us, made my kids laugh since they were both new babies, and always had some words of wisdom for me. Sending off Smoke Signals for you, Ken! Thanks for everything!
