Thank you! What an awesome experience. Im so happy to have shared this and can’t wait for what’s in store. We all felt a strong sense of community in this morning’s Elemental Rythm breathwork experience and am looking forward to seeing how this evolves. Hope you can join us next time!

Four years ago, I attended my first ‘breathwork’ experience and thought, what could possibly happen? Was I surprised! Though I had been to therapy, practiced yoga and breathing, received different kinds of body and energy work, I had never felt a shift like this. It felt like a switch had turned off in my body. I felt calmer than I had in 11+ years and realized I had been acting out of a state of fear and didn’t quite realize because my body hadn’t experienced contrast. My... nervous system was still stuck in the past. You see, trauma is not an event but a response your body has. We all have trauma and mine was a high risk pregnancy, birth and the death of my infant daughter. We must remember that we are animals and that fear is experienced in our limbic systems (responsible for fight or flight). The blessing and curse of being human is that we also have a forebrain were we can create reason for our suffering but never really process emotion. We’re now learning that we need our bodies to do that. Think of a small child who has a tantrum and throws themselves on the ground, or when a gazelle is running from a lion it will literally seize once it’s in a safe place. We have an innate intelligence that that knows how to help us. It’s as easy as breathing. Since my first experience, I’ve continued to practice and have taken two different trainings. The Elemental Rythm method takes the best of different modalities to create nothing short of an amazing experience. It’s been a great tool for me in managing the stress of the last year and I’m really happy to get to share it with you.

Rainy days are made for reading and has there been a better time to learn about breath and the value of touch? The Oxygen Advantage ans Breath are so full of wisdom that I’ve listened to both and bought copies. Breathing is the base of health, why not do it well?
