Happy New Year to everyone Hope everyone was able to deal with the power outages we just had. We only had 18 hours down so shouldn't complain as I know in Nakusp it was 30 hours & 3 days for Danielle & Ryan. Hats off to the BC Hydro & contractor crews for the 16 hour days they were putting in to get things up & running & they are probably not done yet as more snow is on the way. This is my first post on Facebook. As some of you know I have taken over the ACR booking & other d...uties such as this from my stepdaughter Alisha since she bought a house in Armstrong. As I said this is my 1st post ever on Facebook & I intend to keep updating things on a regular basis. Aspengrove Country Resort is up and running for the season. Spring is so beautiful up here. We are very flexible for all sorts of groups or individuals. We recently hoted the dog agility addicts clinic here for the second year and are currently hosting a bachelor party with a group of guys from Vancouver. This is also their second year with another buddy getting married this year. They go golfing during the day and a campfire with beers at night. We are a perfect place to stay the weekend or use as your base for adventures in the beautiful Okanagan valley.

We just wrapped up our third year hosting the North Okanagan Fillies annual weekend. What a wonderful group of horse people. We even had our first Mule here, they look so cool. A great time was had by all. Thanks to Nancy Roman of Saddle Up magazine for her great organization.

Beautiful evening at Aspengrove! Snow is almost gone now.

The snow is nearly gone. The beauty of spring is beginning. It is so majestic up here. I can't wait until the fields get green.

I can't believe how busy we are getting. Now have a bachelor party weekend, two family reunions and a weekend workshop booked this year on top of the wedding and dog agility group that I had posted about already. Word is getting out about this amazing hidden gem. I can't think of a better place for a group of people to get together for a celebration.

2016 is shaping up to be a great year. We have a dog agility group having a clinic/getaway here in the spring, Aspengrove Equestrian Academy summer camps in July, an August wedding and a labour day weekend wedding. So wonderful to share our beautiful place with others.
