Better late than never! Here are some photos from August 2014, taken at the Vungwi Primary school in Shurugwi, our 1st project. In these pictures, you can see the desks that were the result of our 1st donation efforts. In 2014, the school benefited from bursaries that came from all of our fundraising efforts. If you inspect the pictures closely, not only will you see happy smiles, you'll also spot the Headmaster of the school in his white jacket, as well as a teacher in the background holding his baby daughter that he brings to school with him. It is so heartwarming to know that our efforts here to raise funds are mirrored by individuals thousands of miles away.

Today, on Universal Children’s Day, the UN said "this year that there is much to celebrate, from declining infant mortality to rising school enrollment, but that much is still to be done, with too many children still not experiencing their full rights on a daily basis."
