We are pleased that Health Canada has updated Canada’s Food Guide. While in general terms it is less prescriptive than the old guide it does help simplify what foods and beverages to choose in a different manner than the past guidelines. The addition of actionable advice on healthy eating habits such as the importance of food skills and food preparation, mindfulness, and highlighting the importance of your eating environment and food marketing are finally being taken into co...nsideration which is a positive step forward. We are looking forward to the new food guide being integrated with the Health Eating Strategy which aims to improve the food environment in Canada to make it easier for Canadians to make the healthier choice (Health Canada, 2019. Health Canada’s Healthy Eating Strategy. https://lnkd.in/edUdyzv). - Erin Bailey, MSc., RD | Registered Dietitian Lead Sykes Assistance https://sykeshealth.com/health-coaching #Prevention #Food #ChronicDiseasePrevention #FoodGuide #HealthyEating https://lnkd.in/eF2HBWe

A: I would like to be able to make money appear out of nowhere! Don't we all Cheryl... Don't we all. === FEATURED BIO Melissa Gracie Q: How long have you been with Sykes? A: I've been with Sykes since May 17th, 2018 Q: What is the best or most rewarding part of your job? A: I think the most rewarding part of the job will be helping people Q: What do you like to do when you’re not working? A: I hang out with my family and garden when I am not working....very glamorous! Q: Where are you located and what do you love about it? A: I live in Cape Breton, NS.
