A Step Ahead Preschool

This simple activity was one that brought many hours of enjoyment this week. We laminated pictures of trains and added pipe cleaners to the back. The children made their train by adding beads on the pipecleaner. This activity allowed the children to build on their social skills as they discussed their designs with each other. Small detailed activites like these also encourage development in children's fine motor skills (small finger movements). With the extra pipecleaners they made bracelets for home. It was another great week at A Step Ahead Preschool!

We have been learning about ourselves and how to stay healthy. This art project we are brushing toothpaste all over the tooth to keep them clean. Showing them to do circle motion when brushing teeth.

Merry Christmas to everyone. We just wrapped up our first half of the year at our new preschool with lots of smiling faces. We thank you for your support during our first few months, we look forward to what the new year brings. Stay safe and have a wonderful New Year's!
