2 WEEKS TILL CHRISTMAS!! We hope everyone is having a good holiday season and enjoying family, its a hard time of year for alot of people, and this year with all the pandemic crap going on we can get pushed to our limits fast...just remember, every person you see is just like you, and maybe all they need today is someone, just ONE person to do or say one little thing to make their day a little better...sometimes that is all it takes for someone to not feel hopeless at the end of their own bad day.

Entering week two of the forced business shutdown, I would be curious to know the number of small business owners that are at home not allowed to work, alot of them with only a couple customers at a time, and theyre being told its going to help, when its a crock. This whole 6ft rule seems like silliness to me when I walk into No Frills and see ten diff ppl rooting through freezers and shelves touching everything...Im sure everyone isnt sanitizing in between every thing they ...touch at the grocers or Walmart. Did you know C virus can live for days on anything these people are touching? And that a person can spread particles 40 feet with a cough? All thats going to happen is we will lose alot of our small businesses and all finally be forced to shop at stores owned by big corporations or by the Govt...most of our small businesses dont pose a fraction of the threat of spreading this virus that a place like walmart does, and their profits leave Canada anyways, so everyone do what you can to support local during this time, their Govt sure isnt. By the time any of them receive any financial help it will be too late and some of them will have to go work for one of these corporations...dont let family owned small businesses go extinct! #flattensmallbusiness See more

No idea if its happenned in other neighborhoods but my daughters car was broken into on Farewell St early this morning and her wallet stolen. Is this how bad it is already? Lowlife scum stealing a hard working girls wallet from her car? ANYONE who give me a nam will get a bigger reward than the cash stolen from my kid i promise that. In Renfrew County you can call 613 735 3675 and have paramedics test you for COVID19 at home...simple as that..so if you REALLY think you have it dont complain all over social media, dont bother the already overwhelmed staff at Emerg, call 911 if it IS AN EMERGENCY, but if you arent dying but just sick, call the damn number, its posted all over the place. Otherwise, stay clean avoid travelling and dont lick sick people...
