Thank you to everyone who has sent the Mayor Marianne Meed Ward announcement today. Please know that Groomers have been following this gong show of muddied, mixed messaging VERY closely - on a daily basis. We want to be open as much as you want us to be open. With that said, because we were told grooming was to lockdown until February 11th, all my equipment is out for maintenance. I am attempting to get it back ASAP. ... Hi Everyone, By now we’ve all heard the lockdown is extended until February 10th and yes, grooming remains shuttered. This is terrible news for us all. If you have booked an appointment before February 10th, please reschedule until after that day. However, as usual, if the lockdown gets extended again, more appointments will need to be changed. ... Good Morning Everyone, I hope you all had a lovely holiday, spent with the ones you love most. It is with a heavy heart we find ourselves back here again. Late in the afternoon on December 23rd, I received official word that GROOMERS WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR 28 DAYS (and possibly more, depending on Mr. Ford’s announcements) in compliance with the province wide lockdown. ... Let me be the first to say, I know this is terrible news and many people wish we could continue with business as usual. I support the lockdown because I believe we all need to do our part to make this thing end as soon as possible. On a side note, there is also a possible $10,000 fine for those who get caught violating the order. There will be no bookings honoured in January. For those already booked, I will be in touch today. For anyone who would like to book for February, just to secure a spot, please go ahead but remember, it may need to change if the lockdown doesn’t end in 28 days. BUT IT WILL BECAUSE WE ARE ALL DOING OUR PART. YAY US!!! Attached you will find the calendar.
