Hello Flips families! Alberta Health Services (AHS) has updated their daily screening guidelines. In turn, the Alberta Gymnastics Federation (AGF) has updated their screening forms for participants. We are requesting that a screening checklist be filled out for all the children in your household and for any adult that enters the building. THIS FORM ONLY NEEDS TO BE FILLED IN ONCE PER SESSION - not every class (links for the forms can be found at the bottom of this message). T...hat being said as AHS updates their checklists, AGF may require another form at a later date. We are still requesting everyone who is a non-athlete to sign in as they enter the gym and for EVERYONE to wash or sanitize your hands upon entry as well. All inquires for fall registration can be emailed to [email protected] An email was sent out with our detailed return to play strategy. If you did not receive the email please let us know. Below are a few key points. We have scheduled 15 minutes between each class to allow for cleaning. Kids are to be dropped off 5 minutes before their class starts, already dressed and picked up immediately after their class ends. The lockers are unavailable and change rooms are closed.... We are encouraging parents to drop off for the duration of class, age permitting. If dropping off is not possible then we ask that only one family member stay. Physical distancing will be in effect, stay home if you are feeling unwell and wash your hands/sanitize upon entering the gym and before leaving. There are sanitizing stations set up throughout the gym. Please bring your own water bottle. This session we have removed fundraising and volunteer duties and replaced it with a mandatory cleaning fee of $25. A discount of $15 will be applied for each additional child registered (in the same family) up to a maximum of $55/family. We are desperately needing members to join our board. Without a full board we will not be able to keep FLIPS running. This year we are offering a 20% discount off the registration cost for one gymnast for each session throughout the year.
