The second date of the 6th annual Christmas Mini Sessions in Sioux Lookout with Athena Marie Photography is happening!!! Registration will open on Monday at 8pm (visit the link in the comments to register online). There are limited sessions available, so if you're interested, make sure you sign up ASAP! I just finished editing the final gallery from Saturday's 6th annual Christmas Mini Sessions!! YAY! <3 <3 Here's a fun recap of the day: *19 different families/couples participated (8 of whom were repeats that I've photographed previously!). *Took almost exactly 3,000 photos! Delivered 601 final edited images (I'm an overshooter - haha!).... *Ran home two different times to nurse our newborn babe during intentional breaks factored into the day (plus nursed her before the day began and as soon as I returned home - haha!). *Gave away the first session of the day to a lovely & very deserving couple. <3 *Photographed several different couples (the day isn't only for families, people... it's the perfect opportunity to get some photos with your significant other!). *DOGS! 7 awesome pups (the little corgi took the cake for most photogenic - hehe!). *Experienced COLD, clouds, snow, sun throughout the day. *Talked rugby with a man from New Zealand. Tried to convince him to start a women's rugby club here (because I miss playing SOOOOOOOO much!). :D *Photographed a two week old baby!! *Bumped into a mama who was in the hospital birthing a babe at the same time we were (just a month ago!). *Chatted with one of my OBs (gotta love small towns - ha!). *Photographed a little guy I hadn't photographed since he was born several years ago. *Took photos of a little girlie I used to babysit when she was just a year old!! <3 *Photographed the families of two of my volleyball teammates! :) *Chatted with the vice principal of the school where I work (when not on mat leave)! *Photographed several of my neighbours! :) *Got to photograph one of my favourite sets of twins (pictured here)!! <3 <3 A huge kudos to the hubby for taking care of 3 kids under the age of 2, not only for the mini session day, but for like THREE FULL DAYS of editing, as well. And thank you all so very much for supporting me, my small business, and most of all our growing family. It has been such a huge blessing to us!! <3 P.S. If you participated this year, be sure to check your email for your images! And please continue to spread the word about my photography business!! P.P.S. I've been toying with the idea of doing a half day of minis the first weekend in December (so like, next weekend). Is that too late / too cold? Would there be any interest from those who missed out this past Saturday??
