Carmen provides a service that no amount of stars can ever truly value. Our beloved Harley's health changed significantly for the worse when we reached out to ...her. She promptly made arrangements to come to our home on short notice and provided us with the guidance necessary to make one of the most difficult decisions we ever had to make. Saying goodbye to Harley as he rested in his favorite bed, surrounded by those who loved him most, made a very difficult moment in our lives a more peaceful process. She made it possible for us to share our love for him to the very last moment and for that, we will always be grateful. See more

Last week we had to say goodbye to our beloved 19 year old cat Ginger. He passed away peacefully at home with the help of the wonderful Dr. Carmen Purtscher. ...Although we were devastated to have to say goodbye, we could not have found a better person to assist us with his passing. Dr. Purtscher is compassionate and kind and made the experience as peaceful as possible. Ginger was a smart and funny character who brought us much joy over the years. He was leash trained and loved to explore his yard, sit on the front porch, and say hello to any cat lovers that passed by. We miss him so much. Thank you Dr. Purtscher for taking such good care of Ginger in his final moments. We will always be grateful. Don & Darlene

I am just writing to thank you for your kindness and your wisdom over the last few days. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest decisions we must make for our bel...oved pets. I was fearful that I would not be allowed to be with Abbey as she passed, as some (many) clinics are not allowing pet parents to remain with their pets as they pass during this covid lock down. Your service is so needed, and so appreciated. Abbey's passing in her home environment where she could be the most comfortable, was dignified, calm, peaceful and meaningful. Again, I cannot thank you enough for all that you and your team did for us today. Thank you. See more

In less than 4 weeks, we lost our incredible dog Simon, and our beautiful cat Sophie. They were both loved deeply and completely. Both were rescues; Simon was... around 10 years old when we got him, and Sophie, and her sister Maxine were tiny wee kittens. Simon developed dementia a few years ago, which was manageable for a time. But recently, at age 17, he developed glaucoma in his left eye, which was very painful, and kidney disease. And his dementia had progressed. The time had come, and we knew it. We called Dr. Carmen and she was so gracious and helpful discussing his issues and helping us make a final decision. She came over and helped us say goodbye to our dear boy with a peaceful dignified passing. Just a couple of days ago, Sophie suddenly lost the use of her hind legs. We took her to emergency in the middle of the night, and were told she had developed blood clots which had cut off the circulation to her legs. They wanted to euthanize her then, at the hospital. We knew we wanted her at home, comfortable in, and comforted by, her home and everything she knew in her life. We did just that. I called Dr. Carmen first thing in the morning, and she came right over. She helped us, once again, to say goodbye, and give Sophie the peaceful, loving passing she so deserved. She was almost 20 years old, which I know is a long life, but somehow that doesn’t help. We are devastated by their loss. But Dr. Carmen was so wonderful with Simon and Sophie, and that has made all the difference in the world. Although we miss them terribly, we are comforted knowing that their final moments were filled with peace and love. Thank you Dr. Carmen for giving us that gift. See more

This morning we said our final goodbye to Lance. He passed comfortably in our home with us beside him with the help of the wonderful Dr. Carmen Purtscher. Who c...ame to us to keep Lance comfortable. He was a very unique cat and what I would consider my familiar. He thought everyone was his best friend and wanted to hold him. He would greet you at the door, boop your head and make sure everyone was enjoying the party. I will miss the many hours of carrying him around (dancing with him in my arms during Dance Dance Revolution) and how he would curl around next to me with his head in my hand. He enjoyed being the lead manager and supervisor on all my sewing projects, ensuring the quality of work was done correctly the first time. He wasn't a hard task maker as he got older, since by 10pm he was reminding me it was time for bed. Lance enjoyed curling into a circle, letting his tail drag in warm bath water and sunbathing regularly. He did require an annual dust bath with a subsequent warm shower. Lance enjoyed the finer things in life, like warm heated beds, snuggling under the blankets behind my knees, purring right on my pillow (I swear he was the best white noise machine ever!) sleeping on Jeff, tuna water and the strangest thing...fresh corn from the cob (eating right through the husk) and tomatoes. Not sure why he loved them, but he did. He will be missed by many and especially by Jeff (his human Dad) and Olivia (his human sister), his brother Robin and Sister Onyx. He was lucky in the last few days with visits from his friends. He will be met at the rainbow bridge by Ceasar and Cleo. I miss you my bud bud, Lancy pants, my vampire cat and buddy, but I hope to see you again.

Last night, our sweet Chanelle drifted away peacefully in our arms. I can’t recommend Lindenlea Mobile Veterinary Services enough! Yesterday we said good bye to my sweet Bruiser at home with Dr Purtscher. She was amazing in handling us and my Bruiser with such kindness. Dr. Carmen literally just left my home about 30 minutes ago after taking the sweetest care of my boy Diego during his last moments. It was the most peaceful experience I could have hoped for and there’s peace in that.

Last night I had to make the hardest decision to free my soul friend Simba from his pain. Simba was my shadow always followed me for 13 years We were blessed... to have Dr.Carmen with us to be there with us thank you so much for taking the time to be with us and relieving Simba from all his pain , and for being so caring and compassionate in doing so . It wasn’t easy and still isn’t but just having you there with us made it more smoothly and acceptable. Again thank you xoxoxo See more
