Yesterday was beyond special to me! Inspiration vs. Reality > I love Christmas decor, I really do! But I can’t be bothered with it this year haha I started to put this gorgeous fir garland up on my ledge and bought pretty little led star lights to go through it .. was going to add beautiful glass mushrooms (thanks @desbraybathproducts ) and some Acorns .. it was set to be a whole natural inspired vibe! The needles started falling all over the floor, the cat kept jumping up and the dog was... pulling at it from the other end so I huffed it in the tub and gave up! I don’t want to throw it out because it smells incredible and it’s so pretty but I also wanna shower ya know .. sooo?! I had high hopes for my gift wrapping theme this year! This was my inspiration photo for what my beautifully wrapped gifts were going to look like I DID try the video I shared for dried orange slices ... it was a #pinterestfail as most of my DIY attempts are haha! My house stunk as they were drying and 4 hours turned in to 6 .. they still weren’t dry and I wanted to go to bed so I hiked up the heat and burnt them lol! Whatever! I still wanted to try and make some sustainabl...e choices so anyone receiving a gift from me is likely getting either a. Last years left over wrapping paper (and the tissue paper I fold up and put away from any gifts I receive ) or b. smoothed out brown packing paper from the packages that keep piling up on my door step!!
