Producing creative works is what we love to do but... remembering to photograph the final product seems to be a challenge, sometimes. Luckily, we were in Sackville, New Brunswick last week and were able to grab some pics of a donor wall we designed and produced for Mount Allison University several years ago. In late spring of 2016, Mount Allison University contacted AtlantexCreativeWorks regarding a donor wall they wanted designed and fabricated to thank the donors who helpe...d fund their newly renovated Alumni Field. We developed a donor recognition wall consisting of a background photo of the centre field of the new Alumni Field. Set in front is a 5' diameter glass panel with the donor names screen printed on the second surface. We designed and fabricated custom brushed aluminum stand-off hardware to mount the glass panel to the wall. Finally, we delivered and installed the donor wall in the Mount Allison Athletic Centre in September of the same year, just in time for their Homecoming weekend. As you can see from these pictures taken last week, the donor wall looks as good as the day it was installed.

Congratulations to the team at Fathom Studios for their award winning signage work at Alderney Gate. It was a pleasure to work with John and Anna-Gabrielle to create this stunning wayfinding solution.

The Transportation Association of Canada's 2019 Conference was held in Halifax this year at the new Nova Centre. For this event, Atlantex designed, produced, delivered and installed a custom 20'x10' exhibit for our good friends at Atlantic Industries Limited (AIL). AIL's exhibit consisted of a serpentine steel corrugated metal display surface mounted to curved back walls with digitally printed wall graphics. The curved corrugated metal panels, called Bolt-A-Plate, is actually... one of many innovative products developed and produced by AIL. The display graphics were designed by Eric Wood Marketing (https://ericwoodmarketing.com/) and were produced as direct print sintra graphic panels mounted to the Bolt-A-Plate using magnetic cups. Atlantex also designed and fabricated a very big feature in the exhibit; a 12' model (1:48 scale) of the Shammal Bridge near Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), which recently earned a Guinness World Record for being the world’s largest metal buried bridge with a span of 32.39 m. AIL supplied engineering services and their UltraCor product used in the design and fabrication of the bridge. The model also incorporated a timelapse video presentation of the building of the Shammal Bridge. Here is a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrgzdbBqeF4 You know you are doing something right when other exhibitors are taking pictures of your exhibit. Check out the pics!
