Today I was privileged to take Muriel, a 93 years ( young ) lady originally from Fogo Island and her three daughters on a little combined tour and fishing trip ...to celebrate her reaching such a milestone and with such vigor and enthusiasm for life. I attach two photos: The first Muriel is pulling in a cod...her first in many, many years and secondly her daughter, Lisa, proudly displays her mom's catch. Muriel resides at the seniors home in Lewisporte and was quite thrilled for me to take her over the hill to my boat on my quad!#exploreNL See more

Sever...al of the photos I framed from the 91 year old planking I salvaged from The Bessie Marie- A schooner with a proud Twillingate History being built for Ashbourne's limited in 1929. Corey Burton everyone in each community around the coast of Newfoundland and up the Labrador coast that wants a seal to eat and has the means of going out and g...etting a few to eat they should all meet up in one spot in the communities and launch their boats and go out and get a few to eat and a few for the ones that don’t have the means of going out , let DFO know that we are taking back our God given rights and we have had enough of the BS that we are not allowed to do this or that , enough is enough , if DFO feels that they have to carry guns to defend themselves has they do their daily job , well we should let them know that we have guns to use to kill seals as a way of getting food for means of survival.
