INTRODUCING THE CREW OF 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL Jacki St. Croix Props Master... Jacki has been involved in theatre since the early 80’s and, in recent years, she has traded in the footlights for a flashlight and joined the production crew. She would not be able to function without the love and support of her Dad, Siblings and Cousins who willingly let her forage through their homes, cabins and sheds a couple times a year in search of the perfect item for a show. INTRODUCING THE CREW OF 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL Lori Shortall - Stage Manager... Lori has spent 30 years sitting underneath the stage playing in pit orchestras for many local musicals such as the Sound of Music, Oklahoma, Aida, Les Miserable., The Wizard of Oz, South Pacific, Oliver, Crazy for You, Camelot, and the original Divas Do Broadway. This is her first foray into the world of Stage Manager. Lori is a music teacher with the Newfoundland and Labrador English school district for the past 22 years. She currently teaches band, orchestra, choir, classroom music and musical theatre at Brookside Intermediate in Portugal Cove-St. Phillip’s. Lori has also worked and volunteered with many music organizations in St. John's. She is associated with Rotary Music Festival, The Singing Network, Festival 500, the Phenomenon of Singing, and the Canadian Band Association. INTRODUCING THE CREW OF 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL Sara Dovey - Artistic Painter... Sara hails from a tiny community in Central Newfoundland. She has been freelancing in St. John’s and surrounding areas since 2016. She studied Visual Arts at MUN’s Grenfell campus and has been dipping her toes into various areas of theatre, most frequently scenic painting. Alicia is an experienced performer, teacher, and choreographer who has been active in the local musical theatre and dance scene for over 15 years. Selected credits for choreography include Do You Think You Can Dance (Neighborhood Dance Works), Phantom of the Opera (PWC), the Frosty Festival Opening Ceremonies 2011 -2014 (Red Dress Entertainment), Torbay Hillside Festival Opening Ceremonies 2011 (Red Dress Entertainment), Les Miserables (PWC) (2013), Red Hot (2013), NSO: Kelly Ann Feature (2014), Legends: Michael Jackson (Red Dress Entertainment 2014), Fame: The Musical (PWC 2015), Mary Poppins (PWC 2019). INTRODUCING THE CREW OF 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL Marie Steffen - Choreographer... Marie hails from England she is now A Canadian Citizen and proud Honorary Newfoundlander. She is the owner and Artistic Director of Steffen Dance Studio. A graduate of The London College of Dance, Professional Program, she has been teaching in the Province for nearly 30 years. During her career Marie has taught thousands of students, many having gone into the profession and even more having found a lifelong love of dance and the performing arts. Marie is a well-known choreographer and is fortunate in having worked with most theatre companies in NL. This is her third show with Atlantic Light. Some of her most memorable shows include Cats and Chicago with TaDa Events, "Little Mermaid" with Theatre St. John’s, "Sister Act" and "Billy Elliot" with Atlantic Light Theatre and Phantom of the Opera with OOT. Marie is delighted to add this funny and smart show to her list of favourites.
