In 2019, Canada recorded 3,130 late fetal deaths, also known as stillbirths. That's 8 in everyone 1000 births. What can we do to better help families during this time?

Today we remember all babies born sleeping, the ones we've carried but never met, those we've held but couldn't take home, the ones that came home but didn't stay. ... We are honoured to offer professional photography services to families in need throughout Atlantic Canada. As always, there is no fee to our services but we always welcome donations so that we can continue to serve in this way.

Did you know that our services are free? We could never bring ourselves to charge a fee for something like this and we do it as a gift to the family. Donations are encouraged and gratefully accepted, as it means our photographers can continue to provide this service (driving, on-call, editing hours etc.)

When you are faced with the reality of birth loss, it’s often a very raw and emotional time. It is helpful to have a family member contact us rather than the parents, and to contact us as soon as thé outcome is known so that we can be there as soon as possible. We travel across Atlantic Canada for our clients whenever possible.
