We are now, temporarily closed, due to COVID 19, to keep our staff and customers safe, to practice social distancing and in light of anticipated new travel restrictions. Holy God, You know we... have this virus thing going on here, and that we are trying to contain and control it. So we go to the supermarket to stock up; distance ourselves from others, disinfect our homes and don’t go out. And in the midst of this crisis, when we can’t even go to church, we are reminded that we "are church". We are the body of Christ. So we ask you calm us Holy One. and gentle us into caring for one another. Give us an awareness of Your Presence among us, and within the health care teams, who go to work each day despite the risks. Help us to appreciate the efforts of all who are striving to alleviate suffering. And empower us to be instruments of your healing love. This we pray in Jesus name. Amen.

Canada is barring entry to all travellers who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced today one of a set of extraordinary new measures being introduced to stop the spread of COVID-19. There will be exceptions for air-crew, diplomats, immediate family members of citizens and, "at this time," U.S. citizens, Trudeau said.
