Many of the men and families who came to the Drumheller coal fields were deeply affected by war. Let's remember them. The Valley, despite its dirt and danger, provided a solace from faraway conflict and way forward to a better life. Let's remember this. Drumhellerites answered the call when asked, and some made the journey to foreign fields to perserve our way of life. Let's remember them.... Please take a minute on this snowy November morning, in such a strange and fearful year, to remember and to reflect on the solace our peaceful Valley provides and the many sacrifices made by those before us.
