We are into the "Big Melt". For those of you who have sump pumps it would be a good idea to check and make sure the pump is working correctly. Also make sure the exhaust pipe is not plugged and is expelling water away from the foundation. Stay dry out there.

Well its starting to feel like spring and like a lot of people you may be thinking of purchasing a new home. With that in mind while you are doing your spring cleaning pack up your winter things so they can be easily moved. No sense packing twice. While your in that mode think about about what a home inspector will see in your home. Is there easy access to the furnace and water heater? How about the electrical panel and even the attic access. It all helps your home look better and well maintained.

While the temperature is still nice, don't forget to turn the water off to you out door taps.
