Large hand blown glass vase attributed to Seguso Vetri d' Arte, Murano, Italy. Teardrop form with Shark Tooth top exhibiting beautiful Sommerso of intense reddish/orange graduating to tangerine. Circa 1970.... 11 1/2" high, 6" wide. Excellent condition. Literature: Italian Glass/Century 20/Leslie Pina/Schiffer Sommerso (Italian for "submerged") is the Murano glassmaking technique of creating two or more layers of contrasting glass without the colours mixing together.
