Did you know that you can talk to me anytime? Admitting to others that there was a problem was such a difficult thing for me to do. Being someone who was always a rock for others and a shoulder to cry on for many made me feel extremely weak and useless when I started to communicate my issues to my family.... It was a huge sense of relief and a load off my shoulders when I could openly talk about my struggles with people I trusted. The amount of support and guidance I got back was unexpected. I stopped listening to that voice instead of my head and just reached out to my loved ones for help. I am glad I did or I may still be in a dark place right now because of my ego. I had to learn how to accept that I am not perfect and it’s okay to not always be at 100%. That’s why we need to allow ourselves space to heal and recharge our batteries again. It’s taboo to keep thinking that mental health isn’t a common problem because it is. You are not the only one struggling and if you reach out to others, you’ll be surprised by who may also tell you about their struggles. The advice they give you may guide you in the direction to a healthier you.

To do this you must know who you are first and put that energy out into the universe. It will give back what you put out there.
