1 Why did you want to work in this industry? Given my interests in school courses and my dad’s career as a mechanical engineer, my parents encouraged me to consider this field. I was very lucky I knew what I wanted to do since grade ten! 2 How did you get started in the industry?... I worked as a summer student in my dad’s company, which over the years has become my company. After five years of working in BC as an engineer, I moved back to Ontario to join my father’s firm starting as a full-time employee, then as a partner in 2006 and now full owner as of 2008. I have since employed ten staff. #WomensMonth #WomenInConstruction

1 Why did you want to work in this industry? I felt like my past experience working in the tech industry would allow me to make an impact in this industry! I now work for a world-class organization. 2 How did you get started in the industry?... I joined LIXIL Group as VP of Marketing and was compelled to become more involved when I took over as the GM.
