At the Lake Cafe's talented Paula Garofalo created this line up of fall inspired cakes for today's Providence Care Cake Auction. The cakes include a chocolate sunflower cake (donated by Hugh Kerr), a lemon cake soaked in lemon butter sauce and white chocolate butter cream icing (donated by Johnson Controls), a chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream topped with mini pumpkins (donated by ITS) and a dark chocolate cake with fresh raspberry filling draped in chocolate ganache (donated by At the Lake Cafe).

Thank you to everyone who attended the ribbon cutting event today at At the Lake Cafe. It was a pleasure to have Mayor Bryan Patterson and Phillip Brown from Br...owns Fine Foods at the event. This cafe wouldn't have been possible without a significant contribution from Phillip, the Kingston community and University Hospitals Kingston Foundation.

Today's specials are: Creamy garden cauliflower soup, veggie wraps with cheese and crunchy mustard, veggies with creamy dill dip, vegetarian and gluten free brownies and butterscotch pecan muffins.

Come warm up with a hot bowl of cream of mushroom soup, a homemade roast beef or chicken chipotle wrap. Peanut butter balls are also being rolled out now. Come on down!

Today's lunch specials include: Chicken noodle soup, chipotle chicken wraps, salmon salad, tuna salad and garden vegetable sandwiches on fresh bread. A variety of homemade baked goods are also available, including cinnamon buns.
