My friend @flyingfoodiemama took this of me in December when we had a car visit and a distanced walk in the park. I’ve debated a lot on wether or not to post this on my business site, but this is an important personal cause that’s close to my heart. What you may not know is that this is what the face of depression and mental illness looks like. It has been one hella year and I had just gotten some news that rocked my world to a new low. I felt like I was drowning, didn’t k...now which way was up or how to even take a breath. The worst part was the dark thoughts barging into my mind. I needed help. I called my amazing psychologist, my wonderful caring doctor and reached out to my remarkable family and friends. I’m so lucky and grateful everyday to have access to professionals and such a strong caring network of people in my life. This isn’t the case for everyone. Even at some of my dark points I didn’t want to bother anyone with my problems - burden. It took a lot for me to just pick up the phone and make a simple call for help. Today we need to share the $#! out of #bellletstalk to help raise awareness and much needed donations for mental wellness programs. Last year Bell raised nearly 7 MILLION dollars with the #bellletstalk initiative.
