What is your most fond memory? The team at Memory KPR has figured out how to make those memories eternal! Founder & CEO Jessica McNaughton remarks, ... "A combination of many things drove me to start MemoryKPR but they all are rooted in trying to hold on to memories, moments, and people who are no longer here. Since starting this company we have helped people learn about their loved ones in a different way, we have also helped them preserve the stories, voices, and laughter of people who are now gone, you can’t truly put that into words but when you see the faces, you understand. The realization that we capture stories in such a multi-dimensional manner but we have no habits to preserve them that way; our habits are still one dimension; print books, documents, or a sea of folders on our computers. I just knew there had to be a better way. My story as a professional that pivoted my own career later in life is important, it is NEVER too late to chase that dream and it is always the right time to gamble on yourself. MemoryKPR is important to our community too, this community has so many important stories to be told, so many inspiring people. We are also rather passionate about design and data ethics we are not a social network and we are good with that. On MemoryKPR you own your story. You control the narrative, who you tell the story with, and who sees it. You also get to see unique elements of your story, like, at a wedding, for example, you might not see what happened at table 9 while you made your toast but if you invite everyone to contribute you will. We did a beta test with Eden Care, capturing senior’s stories. That organization's commitment to Innovative Care is really incredible. The senior citizen population has some incredible stories to tell, ones their families will cherish for years to come. In celebration of #WOMENSENTREPRENEURSHIPDAY We want to give a huge shoutout to Ashley from Saltine Baking Company for being the winner of the YWCA Women of Distinction Award! ... We chatted with Ashley we want to share that conversation with you: "Winning the Women of Distinction Award for Entrepreneurship and Trade felt like recognition for my work that I didn’t know I needed and certainly was not expecting. I feel like within the bakery I work to make small differences where I can but very rarely take a moment to look at the bigger picture of how we are contributing as a whole. This felt like a very humbling moment to take a look at the work I've put into this business and remember where we've come from and where we want to go. Being an entrepreneur is challenging in so many ways every single day regardless of gender. For me personally, there is the guilt that I am not doing enough as a mother, as a spouse, as a friend or family member, as a leader or as a business owner. Your hands are in so many different pots and sometimes it feels you can not do your best at every single one no matter how hard you try. At the same time, it is also so rewarding to contribute this small piece to the community, use my hands and skills to feed people, have a platform to empower and educate my team and ultimately to make some sort of difference, big or small. This sense of contribution outweighs the guilt. Every day we can try again to be the best we can at all of those things. As a female entrepreneur, many barriers still exist in many ways. For example, I once had a customer express as we expected our second daughter that I was growing in the wrong direction. My family over my business. I would never wish for my daughters to feel that they could not accomplish anything because of their sexual orientation. I would never want my children or any young women to ever cap themselves because of such barriers or assumptions others have of what you are capable of because of your gender or the role you are expected to play. I believe you must always strive to be the best person you can be in your given field regardless of these things. #audacityqr

A hobby that started in 2000 soon found Rob smoking food at every opportunity, practicing recipes and feeding friends and family. A hobby soon turned into an insatiable passion for improvement. It wasn’t long before Rob & Jacy realized that with bigger groups came an opportunity to earn some extra income....
