Congratulations to Arturo Pugliese who was recently appointed General Counsel to Friends of the Orphans Canada (FOTOCAN)! In 2016 Arturo, our lawyer and principal, spent a week in the San Pedro De Macoris orphanage in the Dominican Republic. While there, he and 11 other volunteers from the GTA helped build a workshop inside the orphanage which houses 230 underprivileged youth between the ages of 2 and 16.
