AUDEAMUS

Dear members and friends, "I am writing this letter to announce my resignation at Audeamus. This decision was made after several months of consideration, and not taken lightly. I have loved my work with Audeamus, and realize that our organization impacts a number of lives in significant ways. However after 7 years working with service dog organizations, and 4 years with Audeamus specifically, I have come to an acknowledgement that it is time to move on. As you know, for Veter...ans with PTSD there are times when it is necessary to focus more on one's time and energy on one's physical and mental health and family life.I may remain involved for a time, in a casual capacity, in order to assist if necessary. Decisions regarding succession planning and my replacement are to be determined, but hopefully will be announced soon by the BoDs. While my work with Audeamus has not been without its challenges, I have enjoyed it immensely and it has been a tremendous source of meaning for me. I wish to thank everyone involved who has contributed to improving the lives of Veterans and their families through service animals. J'ai adoré mon travail avec Audeamus et je réalise que notre organisation a un impact significatif sur un certain nombre de vies. Cependant, après 7 ans de travail avec des organisations de chiens de service et 4 ans avec Audeamus en particulier, j'ai fini par reconnaître qu'il était temps de passer à autre chose. Comme vous le savez, pour les vétérans atteints du SSPT, il est parfois nécessaire de consacrer plus de temps et d'énergie à sa santé physique et mentale et à sa vie de famille.Je pourrais rester impliqué pendant un certain temps, à titre occasionnel, afin d'aider si nécessaire. Les décisions concernant la planification de la relève et mon remplacement doivent être déterminées, espérons qu'elles seront annoncées prochainement par le conseil d'administration.Bien que mon travail avec Audeamus n'ait pas été sans défis, je l'ai beaucoup apprécié et cela a été une formidable source de sens pour moi. Je tiens à remercier toutes les personnes impliquées qui ont contribué à améliorer la vie des vétérans et de leurs familles grâce aux animaux d'assistance. Cordialement, Marc Lapointe "

Dear Members, I am writing this message to announce my resignation from Audeamus. This decision was not taken lightly I have been thinking about it for several months, with Marc being my stepfather and him leaving it gives me the push I needed to make my final decision. I have been working along side Marc with service dogs for 7 years, 4 with Audeamus, and I absolutely loved working with all the teams I have encountered, you have all helped me build who I am and the confidenc...e I had lost. However it is time for me to move on and to think about myself for a while, which I haven’t been doing for 7 years, my priority was always the Audeamus and it's teams. Thank-You all so much for all the words of appreciation over the years they are what kept me going, you will always be special to me but for now I need to think about what is good for me. Cette décision n'a pas été prise à la légère j'y pensais deja depuis plusieurs mois, Marc étant mon beau pere en quittant lui meme Audeamus c'est ce qu'il ma donner le petit coup qu'il manquais pour prendre ma descision. J'ai travaillé au pres de Marc avec les chiens d'assistance pour les 7 derniere année, dont 4 avec Audeamus j'ai adoré travailler avec tous les équiped dont j'ai eu la chance de cottoyer, vous m'avex tous et chaqun aider a trouver qui j'etais et a retrouver la confiance d'ont javais perdu. Tout fois il est temps pour moi de passer a autre chose et de penser a moi, ce que je n'ai pas fait depuis 7 ans. Ma priorité a toujours été Audeamus et tous ces équipes. Merci enormement pour tout les mots d'appreciation au cours des années, c'est ce qui ma permis de conitnuer. Dear members, I am also announcing my resignation from Audeamus effective immediately. I have been a member since 2017 and have enjoyed my time fostering, training and supporting fellow members.
