2020 ends with a huge victory for us. Designation is still on the books as a threat to any Alberta faculty association, but with President Fassina leaving and no plans to change AUFA's makeup we can celebrate this win. https://www.townandcountrytoday.com//au-faculty-associatio

Designation was raised one year ago exactly as the greatest threat to our association. AUFA members and our allies fought back, and and can now celebrate a victory. Workers from Non-Academ...ic Staff Association - NASA, Association of Academic Staff University of Alberta, Athabasca University Faculty Association, CUPE Alberta, HSAA - Health Sciences Association of Alberta, United Nurses of Alberta, Industrial Workers of the World and many more held an amazing info picket today in solidarity with AUPE members. We're fighting back to stop Kenney's cruel attack on health care, government services, education, and everything that makes up the very fabric of Alberta. The workers united will never be defeated!
