Interesting article. My son is 12 and it's a new phase for me as a parent. A few of our AuMaeZing families are near or at this stage as well.

I've had this picture in my references for a long time but to see it in poster format is cool. If you ever wonder why a SLP is so important, just know they undetstand every aspect of this chart.

Another social story that may or may not be helpful but I didn't want to loose it in the sea of FB information so thought I would share it here.

Love this and how adaptable it can be to match each child's specific learning targets.

AuMaeZ families: As we move forward with tele-therapy I wanted to share this post with you. We work on fine motor skills with every child who attends our centre and as I try to work with what the families currently have in their home I found these to be very inspirational.

This really touched my heart.

Hello Everyone, I have created this video to help parents who may be dealing with challenging behaviours at home during this COVID19 stay-at-home time. It is 40 minutes so you'll want to watch it when you have time or in parts. It took me a bit to figure out the technology but I think it came out not to bad for my first attempt. My laptop isn't high end so the resolution is grainy but still decent enough. The video hasn't been edited so where I've made a couple word bloo...pers, please excuse them. I am not able to pause or rewind. It's a one shot deal and I'm not going to learn how to edit right now. Want to get the information out there sooner rather than later. https://youtu.be/TvbX8qM0a8A

Feel free to print one of these for your front door. I think I have all the bases covered. (To print: Save to your desktop, put in a word document, adjust to th...e size you desire, then print!) If you are able, please donate $1-$5 toward Gator Bait’s vet bills. We are still struggling to pay for her emergency surgery. ($4,180) CashApp: $GuppyDoyle PayPal: [email protected]

This is a post from a neighbour in our little community of Garrison. Great idea for the entire country. Share with all your friends everyone. Let's blow this thing up. Hey Neighbours! HEART HUNT #putyourheartondisplay Over the next few weeks, many of us will be increasing our time spent at home. If you have young children it can be hard to find things to do all day and not lose your mind. ... So I was thinking about a way for our community to still get outside and do something fun, without touching or coughing on each other. I thought it’d be fun to have a city wide Heart Hunt! All you have to do is put a heart in your window! That’s it! Color it, paint it, cut it out, print it from the printer, whatever. Then we can get outside, walk around and see how many we can find! It would be awesome to post pictures of your finds back here on FB to fill the feed with positivity! It’s easy. No human contact. Get fresh air. Don’t buy toilet paper. Just put a heart in your window Thanks for sharing this Erin! What a great idea! Lets do it! *Pass it on* (copy and paste or share!)
