Over the last few months I have looked at all options to pivot Auntie Jo's Kitchen into our new reality. Our business model has always been taking care of the needs of the tenants at 80 Bradford and outside catering for all occasions. With over 60% of the building tenants now working from home, the gathering restrictions that now hinder catering and lack of government and landlord support it is with a heavy heart I announce the permanent closure of Auntie Jo's Kitchen. Th...e current and unpredictable future of the covid climate makes it impossible to continue this business at the level Auntie Jo's Kitchen deserves. I am very proud of what Auntie Jo's Kitchen has achieved & overcome in the last 6 years. Those of you in the restaurant industry understand we don't get into this industry to get rich. It is a passion for creating delicious meals for the people we serve and the relationships built along the way. Their is no better feeling when customers enjoy your creations, leaving satisfied and keep coming back. As well as the opportunity to support many organizations in the community. I would like to thank all the amazing customers, brides & grooms, anniversaries, backyard bbq and celebrations we were honored to be a part of over the years. To my staff, colleagues, suppliers, friends & family I couldn't have made the success of Auntie Jo's Kitchen without you - Thank you! I look forward to our paths crossing again! I can't believe it has been a month since my last post. I hope everyone is staying healthy & following public health guidelines. We are now in Stage 3 and it is great to see so many businesses reopen! After careful consideration for the health & safety of our customers and staff we have decided to remain closed for the month of August. We appreciate your patience as we continue to navigate Auntie Jo's Kitchen thru these unprecedented times. Take care of yourself & each other and we look forward to serving you again soon!
