Aura Skin Care and Laser COVID-19 Safety Plan We are a sole-operated business with only one employee (owner). Our regular practices already are in line with COV...ID safety guidelines as provided by WorkSafe BC. The following precautions have been taken: Step 1: Assess the risks We have identified areas where people may gather sitting/waiting area by the reception We have identified high touch surfaces Doorknobs (front entry, washroom, service room, back door) Reception counter We have identified high risk services Face-related services including but not limited to threading, face waxing, facials, face laser, etc. Any service that requires mask to be removed. Step 2: Implement protocols to reduce risk We have a maximum occupancy of 3 persons at a given time. We are not open to walk-in customers and are only working with pre-booked appointments. We only take 1 customer at a time. Maximum occupancy of 3 people has been posted at the front door. Seating/waiting area has been removed to discourage lounging or gathering. Signs have been posted for maintaining 6ft physical distance. Signs and symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever, headache, runny nose, sneezing, have been posted at the door to remind customers to not enter if they are ill. All customers and staff are required to wear masks. All customers are screened with a questionnaire and are required to sign a COVID-19 consent form which confirms that they are free of COVID-19 symptoms and have not been exposed to anyone who has tested positive. The questionnaire also asks about travel history in the past 14 days and whether the individual has tested for COVID-19 and is awaiting results. We are not providing face-related services. No threading, facials, face waxing, etc. August 17, 2020: Face related services have now commenced with extra precautions. Technician must wear a mask and face shield when providing the service. Customers are screened prior to booking appointments and asked about their health 24 hours before the service.
