Construction update. We are still open and accessible but as you can see the work has progressed and the mess is significant. If you are visiting us you may be held by the flagman for a couple of minutes but that is all the delay you should face.

Aurora Scientific will remain open and accessible during construction outside our head office in Aurora, ON, Canada. The town is replacing sewers, water mains, building sidewalks and resurfacing the road. The work will continue through the summer with only minor interruptions to access, water and gas.

After months of setting up and settling in to our new building, on October 8 we finally held a party to celebrate. Our grand opening party brought together a selection of clients, suppliers, local dignitaries as well as families and friends. Almost 100 people came to view interactive displays hosted by Chris, Russell, Robert, David and Duane; listen to an informative talk about our history and select client success stories by Matt; enjoy a feast prepared by our own Final Test... Technician and in-house chef, Mike; and be led on a tour of our expanded Sales, R&D and Production areas by Dawn, Melanie and Lori. People did seem to enjoy themselves! The official opening of our new manufacturing facility was perfectly timed, taking place during the same week as the official launch of our new website, www.aurorascientific.com. We may have completely overhauled our physical presence and our web presence, but we have retained the same talented and dedicated staff who continue in their commitment to produce instrumentation that science researchers can trust to gather accurate and relevant data. Many thanks to all our staff for their hard work in preparing for this event, as well as to Andy Henton at Inside Scientific for all his valuable input and to Paul and Monika Strak of Gridwork Photography for, well, you know, the photographs. Aurora Scientific's new home! Last week we moved into our new building. We are now up and running with more space and lots of natural light. We have our same email, website and phone numbers. Our new address is: 25 Industry St., Aurora, ON, Canada, L4G 1X6.
