One of the most common knee injuries in sports accounting for roughly 40% of knee injuries across the board, the MCL strain is something we see often at the clinic. Our approach to treating the strain is focusing on stabilizing the ligament with bracing, promotion of ligament healing, and progression with range of motion and strength exercises for return to sport & everyday life for our patients. Depending on the severity of the injury, patients can expect a 4-12 week period of recovery before returning to their respective sport and/or daily routine.
