Wow ! Check out these highlights !!! It looks like Lietuva has it's own Pistol-Pete Maravich, as rising star Dominykas Stenionis born on July 03, 2002, in Kaunas continues to dazzle. His height is five foot eleven (1m80 / 5-11). He is a point guard who most recently played for U19 Lithuania in U19 World Cup, plays for Zalgiris Kaunas II and represents Lithuania in 3 on 3 basketball.

The Aušra Sports Club remembers and salutes Lithuanian-Australian Table Tennis star Vytautas Sirjatavicius (Sir Jack). "His greatest year in table tennis was 1953, when he became the first player in Australia to beat Michael Sabados, who had held 78 national titles and 13 world titles. He was known as Sir Jack due to his unpronounceable name to Australians. He later went by the surname of Sirvic. Born Vytautas on 2 July 1930 in Kaunas to Aleksandras and Barbora Frostas. He was a civil engineering student in Lithuania and in Australia became an Insurance company representative. He arrived in Australia with his parents, brothers Jurgis and Liudvikas and sister Regina."

The Aušra Sports Club thanks Andy for another great memory of counsellors and staff from Ausra Camp at Wasaga Beach in 1974. It was all about friends from the Lithuanian community swimming, dancing, singing, enjoying bonfires and playing sports together.

Making his Pelicans debut after sitting out Monday's opener, Jonas Valanciunas looked right at home, narrowly missing a double-double in 20 minutes of action. The veteran big man is a virtual lock to begin the season as the starting center with the hope that his floor-spacing ability helps open up things up for Zion Williamson. Valanciunas finished Wednesday's preseason win over Orlando with 13 points (5-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and two blocks.
