You asked for it - Here is it This is what each and everyone of you are a part of. You are part of the very special ARC family Without all of you - none of this... would have been possible Click on the GIF and see your memberships, your donations, your efforts at work and what has been achieved and still to be achieved. #YouDidThis #ARC #ARCCG #TheRescueCollective #PetBarnFoundation

This is where #ARC Bushfire Animal Rescue donation has gone . Straight into rebuilds. This is Cobargo Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a huge team of volunteers on s...ite, all last weekend, getting in an Ikea fit out, two new housing cubicles and a huge amount of fencing and supplies. Alli and the team. Amazing work . Josh from Select Electrical, THANK YOU. The build is just under $50k but absolutely vital to keep this large sanctuary going. Money going in .. money going out You can donate here www.mkc.org.au/donations/trcqld If there’s one thing we can take comfort in from all this recent sadness, it’s the actions of total strangers coming out of the woodwork to do good deeds. And that your donations are going out the door where they are needed. Small rescuers, food drops, shedloads of supplies, water, infrastructure and making things work. Alli and the team were down there all weekend, getting this important project set and we are onto the next one immediately. Small plug for Josh . . When Josh from Select Electrical And Solar Solutions was called upon to help out at a massive working bee down at Cobargo Wildlife Sanctuary the following day, his response was so immediate there wasn’t even a second thought: Yes, of course! He didn’t even know about ARC but, upon hearing there was wildlife and their carers in need, he immediately and without hesitation offered to give up his Saturday in order to provide electrical services. Aside from the fact that Josh assisted before he even got there by helping transport goods from Canberra to Cobargo he then worked in the rain and mud AND also helped out with assembling IKEA furniture! What a hero. So, Canberrans seeking electrical and/or solar solutions look no further! Josh and his team are awesome at what they do, and also humble heroes who remind us of the best human qualities. Thanks to Select Electrical And Solar Solutions, we not only have the light but also see the light!

Hey everyone, Take a look at this update! If anyone is interested in donating cash but isn't sure how, please contact us! We are currently in the process of purchasing medical equipment for one of the sanctuaries/"hospitals" that was hardest hit. We are still in need of $3500.00 to cover the cost of the machine.

Hey everyone, Please pass this on to who ever you see posting about continuing sewing or knitting. Brianna, who was quoted in this article, is the main contact on the ground in Australia. Her opinion trumps everyone else's at this moment! Please educate everyone, more crafted items are not the solution. There will not be another wave of requests!!! Luckily, the Durham regions cash funds and medical supply shipment far outweighed our hand crafted goods. I really don't want... to see our money have to be used towards storage fees instead of towards the food and medical supplies that we are currently planning. It's not rude to tell someone to stop! If you're reading this and are currently making items, please donate locally. The money used for freight would be much more useful than your items will be at this point! This goes for all items, not just mittens. I can assure you that the storage facility is not being rented solely for mittens :P https://trib.al/g5bfNRI

Hey everyone, If you have any textiles to donate, please do so. The Soper Creek Sanctuary is in need and all of your clothing, towels, blankets, curtains, etc. will help! We received a TON of donations for the Australia campaign, let's do it again for our own local rescue! https://www.durhamradionews.com/archives/124144
