COVID continues to impact many lives both in negative and positive ways. I am taking time to reflect on some situations in the past from which I will share in a new book. Tentative title: "A nurse of Canadian African descent looks at racism and the profession"

COVID-19 and Seniors who are unable to be up and about without help of family/ friends: Please be extra kind to seniors who need your help. Be aware that you or someone else could abuse these seniors. Abuse is any harm done to an older person caused by a relative, friend, caregiver or person on whom the older person relies for their basic needs. Seniors , one of the fastest growing segment of our population. Next Post: Different forms of abuse for your awareness.

Writing my 4th book titled "Stop the Carnage, We are losing our Black Youth to the Justice System". Come on this journey with me and share what information you would like parents to know as preventative actions. Imagine we could mentor youth to release their limitless potential. Encourage them to surround themselves with folks who see their value and remind them of it!

I am writing the series to Walking Miles and this would include "gut wrenching, hilarious stories". Would you believe that I went to work on wintry snowy morning, slipping and sliding for most of my journey, parked, said a prayer and could not enter the building!! I had my password for the entry lock but could not get close to the door. I was even late for work!! A large, wild Turkey was guarding the entrance and pecked at anyone who tried to enter. Two strong guards saw how desperate I was, along with other employees, came outside and sprayed water from a hose continuously until that bird left the entrance!! True story! What name would you give to this new book?
