#AutismNS's largest fundraising event, Walk the Walk for Autism, is scheduled for JUNE 16 across the province. All funds raised support programs and services we... offer. We are currently seeking businesses and community organizations to sponsor the event. In 2017 Walk the Walk raised $256,700 for Autism Nova Scotia across the province. Show your support and help us make it to $300,000 in 2018. For more info please visit the #WalktheWalk website at http://ow.ly/vS0D30j7O3h or contact Colin MacDonald at 902-446-4995 ext. 60, or [email protected].
Registration is now open! If you haven't been, you really should check it out. http://brigadoonvillage.org/cam

Will McClafferty (president of the Autism Nova Scotia Truro Chapter), accepted a donation from JJ, Mike, and Gavin (from left to right). These guys are the team... at The Outsider Insight Project (OI). Gavin started OI in 2014 as a way to help artists who have been affected by mental health disorders. OI is an art collective, clothing line and a movement to support mental wellness. When talking with these guys, you can feel the passion they have for trying to help others and their cause. Check out their art show this month at the Marigold center the 28th of March at 6:30. There will also be a meet and greet with their artists! If you are looking to purchase some of their clothing, check them out Saturdays at the Truro Farmers’ Market, Sundays at the Truro Flea Market, Lou Lou’s on Prince, or Enchanted Forest on Inglis Street! OI donated $ 333.35 to our chapter. This money will go towards the programs that we are offering to our community. We will be posting these events on our group page. We will continue to run our monthly parent support group and during the summer, reintroduce our EdChats run by Lori! Feel free to reach out with suggestions or if you have any questions about what we do ([email protected]! See more
