Was reading a post about the importance of Oil changes Some people argued waste of money... Some agreed it is important. My response.... I've read the comments and I can tell you... changing your oil within the proper service interval is important. I understand the lab results, and I've sent them oil samples for different reasons in the past and they are a good source. The problem is.... even though the oil sample is "technically" still OK,... When the engine is running..., it creates debris and these are suspended within the oil .... the filtration systems **after time** can't handle filtering properly. There are Tiny Filters within the Hydraulic (Valve Timing) systems, I'm seeing these filters get plugged with debris more and more because of poor maintenance causing faults and in some cases major issues.
