RE: No Signature Policy Dear Valued Customer, Due to the current situation regarding the Covid-19 virus, we want to ensure the health and safety of all our customers and employees. We have implemented extra safety measures and policies to help reduce the risk of spreading any possible infections and keep everyone safe during this time. ... We have temporarily implemented a no signature policy by drivers and customers to avoid handling tickets as much as possible. Our dispatchers will print the drivers name on all tickets and give the driver their copies to minimize tickets exchanging hands. Our delivery drivers will request the receivers name and print it on the ticket. Ticket copies will not be left on site. This is a safety precaution for all our customers and employees to help maintain social distancing and minimize any close interaction. Ticket copies for deliveries made by Strada will be sent within 3-5 business days along with your invoice. If you are picking up material with your own trucks or brokers, ticket copies will be given to your driver at the scale house by the dispatcher as usual. Should you require a summary report of all the loads delivered by Strada trucks each day, you may request it at [email protected] We understand this is not a practice we are accustomed to, but it is one of the many efforts we are temporarily doing here at Strada to help beat this pandemic together. As this COVID-19 pandemic continues to take its toll in every facet of life, we are closely monitoring the Ontario Government's actions and direction and will do what we can to comply with the mandate as we understand it relating to the closure of non-essential work. From the list provided, Essential Workplaces our construction (including aggregates), land development and property management activities are deemed to be essential services. Therefore, we will continue to work ...as long as our supply lines, workforce, and inspection requirements remain in place. For the time being, we will continue remote work and rotating work schedules where possible. Good morning, Due to the current situation with the Covid-19 virus, please ensure any of your drivers or brokers returning from another country, remain self quarantined for 14 days before returning to work. Please communicate to your drivers and brokers and make sure that anyone that is feeling ill, reports and keeps you up to date with their situation. They must remain home and self isolated for 14 days. NO EXCEPTIONS Please report to me and keep me up to date with any...one that has reported to you that they are sick or have been quarantined. We would like to keep track and inform everyone when this occurs so we know who should not be out on the road and in our locations. We ask that you have all drivers take precautions when going out to work and entering our yards. If feeling sick, stay home, do not come into work Wear Gloves Wash hands often Cough into your elbow Wear masks when possible Keep social distancing from anyone in the yard Do not attempt to enter any scale house Remain in your truck when possible For any questions or delivery instructions, call the dispatcher on the phone, do not attempt to communicate with our dispatcher through an open window Dispatchers will sign the ticket for the driver to avoid the ticket being passed back and forth Although we are taking every precaution possible at our locations, we do not want anyone that can potentially be carrying the Covid-19 virus to spread the virus at our locations.
