Dear Friends, Our family have taken on the task of raising funds to assist Richard Peacock who at the present time is disabled and suffers from very limited mobility. Richard was in a horrific accident as described by his family, in their own words, in the story in the comments. He is without the financial means to adapt his living situation with special equipment and home renovations. Richard is a family friend and a friend to all who know him, our family feels compelled to ...help Richard. Richard is a driven individual and we’re hoping things take a turn for the better for Richard. Here’s an example of what I mean by driven. How many people do you know that play Junior B hockey in Enderby one year and the next year play in the WHL for the Saskatoon Blades and then on to Prince George Cougars? It was his drive and ambition that transitioned two divisions over the off season. Have you ever known a person who would drop everything to help you on a home project Richard is that guy! Have you ever been to an event where one person is that magnetic individual that everyone is drawn to Richard is that guy! Have you ever been depressed and in need of cheer Richard is that guy! Have you ever played a sport and there was always one team member that had the back of the whole team Richard is that guy! Now Richard needs us to have his back! Our family is asking for donations for a Facebook auction that will complete at the end of August. We ask that you consider giving in cash or kind. We understand that Covid has affected individual’s and business’s income and if you are one of those, please do not feel obligated to support this worthwhile event. However, please forward this to those that may be able to contribute. All the proceeds will be going to Richard to assist in his transition. Our goal is to raise $50,000.00.
